Pop-up Globe’s celebration farewell Auckland season, “The Summer of Love” presented by Anthony Harper, kicks off on the 13th December. Headlined by a brand new production of Romeo & Juliet directed by Dr Miles Gregory. Justly regarded as Shakespeare's tragic masterpiece, Romeo and Juliet enchants audiences with a spell-binding mix of comedy, love, poetry and - ultimately - tragedy. Balancing the tragic with comedy is a Pop-up Globe specialty. Accompanying is a revival of our most popular show ever, Miriama McDowell’s Much Ado About Nothing an invitation to a joyful and uproarious house party, combining live music, dance and spectacular costumes in a South Pacific setting!
Once the season closes, the theatre will Pop-down ready to embark on its overseas adventures. There can be no extensions. Secure your seats today before the season sells out.
