Pop-up Globe Youth Theatre Term Classes Present KING LEAR

Shakespeare’s most epic tragedy, King Lear, comes to life with a cast of 65 student actors from the Pop-up Globe! Join the crowd for one show only as we present our end-of-year gala performance showcasing the work from our youth theatre and adults’ acting classes.

65 performers. 3 classes of students. Our Changelings Ensemble, Revels Ensemble and Senior Players Ensemble join forces to bring you the most epic patchwork production of King Lear ever. With acting students aged just 10 years old through to 55 years old, this is a once-in-a-lifetime show for the ages, bringing a new lens to the story of old men who act like children, and children who are savage to their parents.
